To schedule an appointment, please (1) Complete the Contact Form on this site or (2) Email me at contact@stillspacecounseling.com
For the first appointment, I need your completed intake paperwork (which will be emailed to you in a secure client portal after scheduling your first appointment.) Intake paperwork will include policy documents, an intake questionnaire, insurance information (if using insurance), and payment information.
I will! Please relax in the peaceful waiting area and I will greet you at your scheduled appointment time.
Counseling sessions are 60 minutes.
I accept American Express, Cash, Check, Discover, Health Savings Account, Mastercard, or Visa.
Invoices are generated electronically through your client portal after each session. Most clients choose to save their credit card information in their client portal and allow me to process their payment after our session via the client portal. Cash or check is also welcome at the end of each session.
I currently accept Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, McLaren Health Advantage, and United Health Advantage. Some clients may wish to submit their Still Space Counseling receipt of services to their insurance provider in hopes of receiving full or partial reimbursement based on their provider and plan.
I believe in a client-centered approach to therapy—you are in the driver's seat. I see my role as a guide that offers reflective listening, empathy, reframing, curiosity, exploration, and safety to help you connect with your own inner wisdom. My practice is informed by evidence-based therapies, focusing specifically on trauma-sensitive and body-based approaches. You'll find me drawing on the following theories and systems as I support your growth: acceptance commitment therapy/mindfulness, relational psychodynamic psychotherapy, internal family systems, somatic experiencing, polyvagal theory/autonomic nervous system regulation, strengths-based perspective, attachment theory, emotionally focused therapy, EMDR, the Enneagram, nonviolent communication, Brene Brown's research on vulnerability and shame, and yoga and meditation.
